WHAT’S NEW?  New Year, New Travels

Now that the holidays have passed and we have gotten back into our normal routines it is entirely too easy to become overwhelmed and let some of our goals fall by the wayside.

This year I challenge you not only to stick to your goals, but to also expand – learn new things, travel to new places and experience as much as you can.  Let’s make 2018 the year that you take the trip you’ve been dreaming of. The Four Agreements in North Georgia!

If you LOVE The Four Agreements – you’ll want to hop on up to Ellijay, Georgia in the mountains north of Atlanta, May 18-20th for an awesome mini-retreat focusing on “Living The Four Agreements: Attaining Personal Power and Freedom.” My fabulous friend, Joann Antonelli owns the absolute coolest property called The Martyn House where the retreat is going to be held.

There are glamping tents (glamping is short for “glamorous camping”) and also regular housing options. Personally I adore the tents – so fun! The retreat is $495 USD and includes a meal package (dinner Friday night, breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday, and breakfast Sunday). Lodging is separate depending on what you choose – with either single or double occupancy in our various accommodations.

Prominent thousands of years ago, The Toltec were known throughout southern Mexico as women and men of knowledge. At the heart of the Toltec teachings on personal freedom are “The Four Agreements” by don Miguel Ruiz. He believes that everything we do is based on agreements we have made – agreements we have made with ourselves, with other people, with God, with life – and these agreements control our lives.

Our personal power is tied up in our faith in what we believe about ourselves and our world and in upholding these agreements. The result of this is that we often feel powerless to change our life, with just enough energy to survive each day.

I’ll be revealing this powerful code of conduct and sharing this profound philosophy of immediate, radical transformation, which is at the cutting edge of transformational work in the world today. If you’re ready to be liberated from old, restrictive patterns, I’ll expertly guide you through these four very powerful agreements.

By adopting these four new agreements, you will create enough personal power to change the entire belief system of your old “contractual arrangements.” By the end of this retreat you will have a deeper and more complete understanding of this masterful book and have taken your first steps toward your personal freedom!

Magical Greece –
Land of Myths and Gods!
May 7th – 16th, 2018

Greece – the original land of myths and gods, of wide open skies and a deep blue sea speckled with islands, contains a beauty and ancient heritage that continuously inspires.

You will open up to greater self-awareness and celebrate through ritual and daily practice. Imagine breathing in the beauty and meditating at the ruins of Delphi or holding sacred ceremony along the banks of the Aegean Sea on the island of Santorini.

There is plenty of time amidst our travels for personal exploring and rejuvenation.

Our fantastic itinerary provides a leisurely paced and unhurried schedule allowing you to use the Greek landscape and historical settings as an opportunity to explore personal spiritual teaching opportunities with Rev. David Ault. Explore the Athens, sail to the islands of the Saronic Gulf; Aegina, Poros and Hydra, and spent 3 magical full days on the island of Santorini.

Trip tuition: $3,195 USD based on double occupancy, single occupancy: $4,190 USD many meals included, as well as round-trip flights from Athens to Santorini.

How to Do Stuff You Feel Uncomfortable Doing!

Rice fields, BhutanSo much has already been written about getting out of one’s comfort zone – I’m sure this isn’t a new subject for you. Yet – I bet that you’re still challenged when you have to do something you’re not particularly comfortable with in your business or personal life. I’ve long realized that understanding the inherent worth of something as ultimately positive does not necessarily compel us to action when we are feeling fearful.

That means when you are called to have one of those “difficult” conversations in your life that you know will create a great outcome (in the long run) – it still makes your skin crawl and you hem and haw about taking action and getting it done.

Or when you know you need to speak to clients on the phone for your business, or finally create that webinar series you’ve been thinking about, or organize that summit you’ve been dreaming about to increase your database – you find 100 other things to do to avoid taking action.

Or when you have to have that conversation with your partner about wanting to end your relationship and move on, or have to step up and set a boundary with someone in your life who you know is not going to be pleased about it.
Tigers NestSo how do we push beyond our comfort zone and our fear so that we can leave mediocrity behind and embrace our audaciousness?

First of all it’s important to really get that everything you can be in life is sitting right outside your comfort zone – even if it’s just 2 inches beyond. You already know what you know and have what you have. If you want something different, if you want something more, that means you have to do something more.

I believe the key here is re-framing our relationship with fear. In our society we run from fear and strong emotions. We’ve never been taught to sit with the feeling of fear, breath through our fear, embrace our fear, or even (gasp!) make friends with fear. It’s like a dirty word, something we want to avoid at all costs.

Well I can tell you that people who learn to allow their feelings of fear to bubble up inside of them without having to run – are the ones who are living amazing lives. They’re the ones who take action no matter how scared they feel, no matter how much of a sweat they’re in, or how hard they’re shaking. They simply breath and move forward.

Punakha Dzong, BhutanWhen you make a habit of doing so – you are re-programing and de-sensitizing your system to fear and learning to embrace it. You start to see that every time you walk through your fear something amazing happens! You see your life expanding and opportunities appearing. You start to actually look for challenges because you know the outcome is going to be awesome.

If you’re one of those folks who runs from fear and a good challenge – perhaps NOW is the time to make that re-frame. After all, everything is at stake here – this is your life and your future is in your hands. You have the opportunity to choose mediocrity or audaciousness. What will you chose?

I’d love to know if you’re having a challenge getting stuff done in your life and business that you know needs to be done – but you are avoiding. Post below and let me know!

Blessings & love, Sheri
