PACKING FOR THE WEATHER

Being prepared for your trip!

You’ll always enjoy your trip more and be able to focus on your spiritual journey better if your physical body is prepared. Before packing do take a look at the 10-day forecast for the places you are traveling to so that you bring the correct clothing. Of course layers are always the key since daytime and night-time temperatures can vary widely.

My favorite weather sites for international forecasts are: CNN Weather Forecasts and also the Weather Channel

It’s always a good idea to have a packing list that you simply take out and use every time you are going on an adventure. On my list are a few constants:

  • Layers – a tank top, a short sleeve top, a long sleeve top and a jacket. You can layer all of these together if necessary.
  • Pants that have legs that zipper off
  • A poncho for rain
  • Sunglasses
  • Bug spray
  • Ear plugs
  • Hip Pack
  • Hidden money and ID belt
  • Hat
  • Suntan lotion
  • Journal
  • Alarm clock
  • Well broken in walking/hiking shoes
