TRAVEL INSURANCE

The wonderful world of Travel Insurance

Today it’s almost a necessity to have travel insurance. Most of us are familiar with trip cancellation insurance, but there are other types too – there’s lost luggage protection, and medical evacuation insurance. We never know if something is going to come up – like a loved one becomes ill or passes away while we are on vacation – or we become ill or injured. Most trip cancellation insurances do have medical coverage and even medical evacuation. But let the buyer beware – read the fine print as all policies are not the same!

What happens if: you, your family member or travel companion gets sick, injured or dies? Your tour operator, airline or cruise line declares bankruptcy?
