Dear Friends,
WHAT’S NEW? How Large Is The Box You Put Yourself In?
One of the most challenging aspects of our spiritual path is to detach from all those concepts we have about ourselves. As nice as some of these concepts may be, they can only create limitation for us in our lives. In addition, those ideas we have about ourselves that are not kind, are even more insidious.
I think we are all familiar with the kinds of beliefs I am speaking about here. Ones like: I am not good at computers, art, athletics, dance, etc. Others like, I am friendly, shy, outgoing, sexy, intelligent, dumb, pretty, ugly, fat, thin, etc. Also, let’s not forget any thought that begins with the sentence – I am…
When we verbalize like that we are creating an energetic box for ourselves with our word. The truth is we are beings that are eternal and infinite. Even me saying those words I am creating a conceptual box too. The key is to move beyond all concepts and embody the deep understanding that we are all no-thing. Not nothing, but no-thing or no-concept.
Lao-Tzu once said, “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” Perhaps you might take it as a challenge for the next couple of weeks to up your level of awareness and whenever you catch yourself about to put yourself into an energetic box – stop yourself immediately. Or if it already exited your mouth, take it back as an acknowledgment of your observation.
As we move though this process we keep moving our awareness from I am concepts to I am – and that is very powerful! Post below and let me know what words you use to define and limit yourself without awareness.

What if you could completely forgive yourself and others?
What if you could gain all of the insight, tools, and support needed
to completely release the past?
~
Forgiveness is one of the most misunderstood concepts in our spiritual traditions. It’s not a high-in-sky idea, it’s not really difficult, and it most certainly does not mean that just because you are forgiving you are making the other person right. NO! NO! NO! Forgiveness is not condoning under any circumstances! Forgiveness does not make hurtful actions correct.
But what is truth is that our lack of forgiveness is the biggest obstacle we have in our lives and it affects us energetically on all fronts. I don’t care how large or small the incident is.
- If you are not going as far as you would like in your business, I bet something needs to be forgiven.
- If you keep picking crappy partners in your life, I bet someone needs to be forgiven.
- Parents pissing you off? For sure someone needs to be forgiven!
- If someone abused you in the past and it makes you sick to your stomach to see them or think about them, absolutely forgiveness is needed!
If you’re ready to make a difference in your life, to feel good and to be free, keep your eyes OPEN! I’ve got a special program you are going to love and it’s coming soon!

OUR GUEST ARTICLE
Making a Pilgrimage to Peru for 2012!
We have some wonderful and life changing journeys planned for Peru this year and because many of you might not be able to go on those specific dates, we are able to custom design a journey to this magical place, especially for you.
I’ve recently had the privilege to create a beautiful custom itinerary for one of our clients which I would like to share, just to give you an idea how your journey to Peru could look like and please remember that we can make any changes for you, ranging from the amount of days you would like to spend in each area to different choices in accommodations.
To make it as easy as possible for you all our customized itineraries include the domestic flights between Lima and Cuzco. After your arrival in Cuzco, capital of the Incan Empire located high in the Andes Mountains, you’ll be met by our Peruvian guide and board your private bus for a scenic drive to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
For the first 3 days of your journey you’ll be staying at the beautiful Willka T’ika Guesthouse & Spiritual Retreat Center in Urubamba which will also give you time to adjust to the higher altitude. The Willka T’ika’s facilities include a spacious Yoga Studio, a massage and aromatherapy center, meditation sites, seven sacred gardens filled with flowers and medicinal Andean plants, the food is 100% vegetarian and all the meals are lovingly prepared with organic, home-grown vegetable, herbs and Andean grains for you to enjoy.
There are also 3 unique outdoor solar baths carved from stone and set in secluded garden spots. These are heated and energized by the sun during the day and at night the water is infused with flowers, medicinal herbs, and organic Maras salt. How I long for one of these right now!
During your 3 days in the Sacred Valley, you will experience the colorful market and ruins of Chinchero, which offer a wonderful opportunity to see some of the locally made handicrafts like wall hangings and pottery. Observe the traditionally dressed Campesinos coming to barter and sell their products at the market and become part of their daily lives. After exploring the ancient city of Chinchero which was occupied by the Wari culture well before the Inca’s you will be making your way to Moray, an Inca site just outside of the small town of Maras. This will be a unique experience as this Inca site is off the usual tourist trail and most never get to see.
Throughout your stay in the Sacred Valley you will have the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in the spirit and culture of this fascinating area. The highlight of your journey will be your visit to Machu Picchu, the Lost City in the Clouds. You’ll visit the Seven Places of Power at Machu Picchu which is a high voltage magnetic focal point and every invocation made at Machu Picchu is amplified to incalculable proportions. Merging your energies with this sacred site and deepening your understanding of the Inca mythology will be the focus for the 2 days you will have at this magical place.
It’s fascinating to explore the Royal Tomb, the Funerary Rock, the Sacred Plaza, Condor Temple and the Intihuatana Stone (known as the “hitching post of the sun” and is a carved rock pillar whose four corners are oriented toward the four cardinal points. The Inca were accomplished astronomers, and used the angles of the pillar to predict the solstices).
Your last day of this unforgettable journey will be spent in Cuzco which was laid out on a grid plan to reproduce the shape of the Puma, the Inca’s sacred mountain animal. Here you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Temple of the Sun – “Coricancha”, the most important, religious complex of all the Inca Empire where your guide will take you deeper into the technological wonders of the Incan culture.
We’ll conclude your journey with a nice farewell dinner where you can look back to experiences and memories that will stay with you for a life time.
There also numerous options to extend your stay to spend more time in some of the areas or visit other parts of Peru like the mysterious Nazca Lines, Lake Titicaca, or the breathtaking Colca Canyon.
You might be thinking that a custom trip wold be out of your price range – but it’s not. Please contact meat 866-866-5566 if you would like more information, it would be a great pleasure to create a journey just for you.
Blessings & Love, Ales

Hi Sheri,
You are so right! Many concepts about oneself are limiting and difficult to overcome. Although I try not to verbalize these concepts (Be Impeccable with the Word!), my internal dialogue continually rebuilds the box that I am trying to exit. It’s the Warrior’s path, I suppose. It is not easy but I usually enjoy the challenge. At least we have awareness which gives us a fighting chance. The rest is up to us!
Peter
Dear Peter,
We are great at boxing ourselves in – in fact remarkable at it! But it feels great to break the box, a tad scary perhaps at time but ultimately rewarding!
