Please join us for a magical retreat to the red rock country of Sedona, Arizona. This area has been the focal point for mystical journeys for hundreds, possibly thousands of years. People come from all over the world to experience the feminine and masculine vortex energies of the multitude of canyon locations.

For seven days we will have the opportunity to experience the beauty, majesty and energy of this unusual location on Mother Earth. Each day we will visit a different special location to reflect our inner mystic to us, and in addition, the limiting beliefs and concepts that are keeping us from this self-realization.

Using the techniques of the vision quest, shamanistic dreaming, meditation and ceremony we will explore the mystic within. From this vantage point you will be able to see more clearly how you are preventing yourself from becoming all you can be in this lifetime. We will participate in class time, journaling, sharing and discussion to get clarity of our minds limiting strategies, justifications and rationalizations.

As part of this retreat we will engage in mask-making, a fire ceremony, multiple ceremonies in beautiful locations and a beautiful healing massage which is part of the retreat package. If you are looking for a place to open your heart and to gain clarity of your mind, this is where you want to be.

As is typical for a Journeys of the Spirit retreat, you will experience class time daily, time for sharing with the group, reflection and meditation time, and one-on-one personal time with your group leader (along with fun and shopping time too of course!). It is our intent that you return home with an open heart and mind along with the tools you need to make the changes in your life you desire.

Day 1 (-/-/-)- Meet the group at the Sedona Real Hotel at at 4:00 pm for a group get-together, opening ceremony and restful night. If you are flying into Phoenix you can carpool to Sedona with some of the other participants! Depending on our schedule we may have time to take a drive to Airport Mesa vortex for an opening ceremony which may include calling in the spirits of the directions, conch shell blowing and the sharing of intentions. We spend the next four days exploring and moving through the sacred Sedona land. We will work with ritual, ceremony, meditation and discussion. There is no definite schedule for these days because in Sedona we work with the energy present in the moment!

Day 2 (b/-/-)- The unusual rock formation of Devil's Bridge is where we will be meeting for a morning ceremony. In the afternoon you may chose to have body work, shop or have free time to journal or rest. In the evening we are going to engage in mask-making as part of our self-discovery process.

Day 3 (b/-/-)- Today we will hike Cowpies up Schnebly Road for our morning ceremony and process time. There will be some free time in the afternoon and in the evening we will meet again for sharing, discussion and class.

Day 4 (b/-/-)- In the morning we will have a get together for class, sharing, dreaming and meditation time. After lunch we will hike to the Shaman's Cave for a Fire and Pipe Ceremony.

Day 5 (b/-/-)- Boynton Canyon is our destination this morning for a ceremony and process time. We will follow that up with a lovely lunch at the Enchantment Resort. In the afternoon you may chose body work, shopping or rest. After dinner we will continue our mask-making project.

Day 6 (b/-/-)- For our last day we will hike either Cathedral or Mexcal Mt with the Birthing Cave. The afternoon will have some free time and we will meet again for our last evening dinner and class.

Day 7 (b/-/-)- We leave Sedona today renewed and with a change of heart. New friends have been made and old friendships made stronger. We look forward to the challenge of bringing this new dream home with us!

Meals are not-included in this itinerary except for 6 breakfasts - if you are staying at the hotel. If you are a local joining us, meals are not included. Lunch and dinner meals taken at local restaurants, can be charged to a credit card - but do bring some cash for the few that may not, and for healing and massage services. All spiritual teachings and ceremonies are included. Other non-included items would be: phone calls, laundering services and souvenir shopping! Your round-trip air flight to and from Phoenix, and your rental car or shuttle van to and from Sedona are not-included. (The van companies are: Sedona Shuttle, Ace Express and Extra Mile - and the ride between the two cities is 2 hours.)

There is the possibility of participating in a traditional sweat lodge given by a local healer. The cost of this should you decide to participate would be $50.00 per person. One massage treatment is included in your retreat package. Additional massages and personal healings are available if you are interested.

The actual schedule of spiritual teachings and what we will be doing day to day is not definite. This is because we teach by channeling spirit which comes in the moment. Every day will be a magical experience for all of us, teachers included! Keep you heart and mind open to the experience life brings us.

The 2007 trip cost was: $1495.00 per person double occupancy. If you need a single, please let us know asap, as the cost differential is $420.00 for this spiritual retreat. If you desire a triple. the cost of the retreat would be $1353.00.

A deposit of $500.00 is needed by: To be announced. Final payment is due: To be announced. Any cancellation made in writing before: To be announced will result in a cancellation fee of $0.00. Any cancellation made between: To be announced and the trip departure will result in total loss of deposit ($500.00). Trip cancellation insurance is recommended to cover such issues.

For local folks wanting to join the retreat, the cost would be $1000.00 and that will include all listed teachings, activities, and one massage.

Please know that I am happy to create a monthly payment plan for you - if that works better, but do note that you must have paid the trip in full by the departure date. Just email me and we can charge a specific amount monthly to your credit card.
