WHAT’S NEW?

I’m SO excited about our travel line-up for next year! We just started listing our 2014 trips and I want to go on all of them!

Something new – we’ve teamed up with Cameron + Glenn Broughton for all things “United Kingdom.” Last year I co-taught with Cameron for my “Journey to Avalon” journey and I fell in love with her. Since then I’ve wanted to promote all their trips – and so I am!

Glenn is British and a veritable unending resource of spiritual mythology. So whether you have been dreaming about a Sacred Ireland, Scotland, Wales, or Britain journey – you couldn’t have a better facilitator.

He knows all the local experts and has them join in each trip to give you an amazing understanding of their traditions, ruins, and myths.

Mystics, Oracles & Shamans of Ladakh: Ladakh, India
March 6-19th, 2014

Join Lisa Tully for this special journey designed to explore the local spiritual and mystical traditions of the Tibetan and Ladakhi people. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in various ceremonies along with the local folks as well as watch their beloved masters, shamans, and oracles in action.

During this unusual adventure we’ll attend two winter festivals of the oracles, the Stok Guru Tsechu festival and Matho Nagrang Festival – as well as attending a local shamanic session with a female lay oracle (where you’ll have the opportunity for personal healing).

By eating and praying in the homes of the local monastic and lay people, Tibetan and Ladakhi, yogi and shaman alike – you will have a true cultural experience you will never forget.

Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to also visit the Sufi quarter of Delhi, the Green Tara temple in the Tibetan Quarter of Delhi (where we can chant her mantra), participate in the Holi festival (to celebrate the start of spring), and visit the Taj Mahal in Agra as an optional tour.

Trip cost: £2350 (approx $3,570 USD) per person double occupancy, many meals included.

Awakening the Inner Shaman

Spiritual Journey Peru Some time ago, we decided to create a new way of sharing our One Community message with the world. We rattled-off many concepts, ideas, and game-plans, but nothing seemed right. Actually, nothing seemed new. To help us define our message, we decided go back to the beginning of our journeys; back to where we first opened our hearts and discovered our own passion. How did we discover our passion? Why was trusting our heart so important to this process?

We began our process by telling each other about our personal transformation journeys: when we realized that “something” was missing; how we began our search, what we discovered about ourselves along the way, and why we continued forward – even when encountering challenges. To the best of our recollection, no detail was left out.

We thought that our individual journeys would be similar, especially because we worked with common teachers. In fact, the opposite was true. Our journeys were very different! The details of our lives and our interpretations of our stories were unique and were molded by our personalities and preferences. Yet underneath the differences, we could feel some common threads. Could we help each other gain new insight through these common threads? This feeling drove us to look more deeply.

Lake Titicaca With our awareness training, we learned to move beyond our interpretations for increasingly longer and longer bits of time. In the space beyond our interpretations, we began to hear the voice of our hearts. And boy, did our hearts have a lot to say! Our dreams, our passion, our purpose, and our gifts were revealed when we learned to listen to our hearts. We quickly saw that we had to trust what our hearts were telling us!

By trusting what our hearts were saying, we revealed our Inner Shaman: the magical part of us that makes the unseen seen, the unknown known, and dreams a reality. Guess what? This felt awesome!

Well, two things became really clear to us after we went through this process. First, if this Inner Shaman exists in us, then it exists in everyone. No one is more special than another in this regard. Everyone has their unique Inner Shaman, patiently waiting to be awakened. Second, each person’s passion is like a piece in a puzzle with a unique shape and purpose, and is required to complete the whole.

Machu Picchu We had our answer. We would build One Community Programs to assist others in finding their passion and purpose through developing a relationship with their own Inner Shaman. To borrow from a Chinese proverb: give a person a fish and feed them for a day; teach a person to fish and feed them for a lifetime.

How would we do this? What does the model look like? The model that no longer fit was one where a single individual would create an energetic container allowing passive participants to move along with the flow. Instead, we envisioned a model with many individuals bringing together their energy and intent to form a multiple-points-of-light field.

In this model, each individual actively participates by sharing their unique and necessary gift with the whole. The result is an interconnected, boundless field for personal transformation. No one is a bystander or listener; everyone is an active participant and contributes to the whole.

Peruvian Shamans Now, here is the trick with this model: we each are responsible for our own path and participation: our successes and our challenges! No one can be responsible for anyone else’s transformation. And the gift of this model? By coming together in the points-of-light field, we all, by our proximity and intent, assist one another on our journey.

Have the courage to ask the tough questions, including “why does it seem like something is missing from my life?”

Become attuned to the difference between your personality’s interpretations and the voice of your heart.

Learn to trust the voice of your heart and let your Inner Shaman emerge!

Reveal and nurture your unique and necessary purpose.

Explore and enjoy your passion and purpose in the world!
